4 High Back Stolen from Poh Huat Road
Hi All,
4 of my 5 Highbacks were stolen this morning (12 of March 2012). I believe the incident happened from around 1am to 5 am. I stay inside Poh Huat, that is near Serangoon North, Upper Serangoon, Serangoon Gardens, Philip Ave etc. The 5 aros are kept in a 6 ft tank in the car porch. I did not install any security camera ( I adopted the "these are just fish and this is SINGAPORE" attitude, big mistake). Anyway, I made a police report. I called a few friends to tell them what happeded. Apparently I am not the only one around this area to have their aro stolen. I just read the post, another incident around Serangoon also happened. All I can say to the rest of the Arofanatics member is ... please install some form of security to deter them to do int their act. Serious. it is not the value of the fish .. it is the fact that they have been with me for almost a year. I have watched them grow from a 5 inch baby to a 14 inch semi adult ... my heart is very pain ..... I am sure these fishes will appear in the market soon .... bec they left the ugliest piece behind .... so they took not stolen for breeding but for sale. They are pros for sure. Floor was dry (maybe the water dired up, not too sure). No shoe marks, Police could not find finger prints .... so these pp were aro kakis and pros .... GUYS, ACT now with your aros, do not wait till you regret ok, install those security devices .... Edgar |

very pro .... i thought these thieves will stop because of the high alert everywhere somemore in the same area ....
I think for my case i thought my aros are juv aros easier to take and go ... but the thieves are proving me wrong even mid size to full size also can ... cant imagine how they did it - seems to be effortless you can imagine how "chuan" to shift mid size aro with water in it .. dont talk abt stealing or not having to get the floor wet and leave behind evidence |
