I know u using those ehiem green pipe but if u not using valve how r u to control all partition the same water amount to be suck into ur canister.
But if ur partition is those have gap at the bottom to fit in the undergravel whole piece then is ok lor. |

Lets say u comfirm wants to use undergravel.
Tank size of 90cm*45cm*45cm. You will need a glass for soil partition 90cm*5cm*0.5cm. Place it at 1/3 the width from behind. That leaves you a 90*30*5 ( 13.5 litres )for soil (lets say ada). Behind will be a volume of 90*10*5 to place your undergravel panel, lava rock chips and inert sand ( denneral ). If drilling is involve, i will suggest the holes to be at the water surface height you wants (example 40 cm). Like that you wont need to be scared of siphon loss. Just my 1/4 cent. |
