Yes I have a pair of stingray and peacock bass in the tanks as well.. So it could be the fish itself?

I searched and gotten life span is more than 10 yrs. So also don't make sense unless in captured environment is different.

Hmm.. Then not sure why too.. Kept for over a year but all started dying one by one within the span of one month..

Probably is the knocking or some kind of plague that only affecting this fish type.
