A Goromo is a white base koi with a red Kohaku pattern that has blue edged scales forming a reticulated pattern only on top of the red pattern.

The below are two beautiful kois. Can anyone identify if they are goshiki or koromo.

I do not agree w u here.

He is just trying to share his passion for koi & promote interest/appreciation for koi among kakis here. He is not trying to do a KOI SHOWCASE or a KOI COMPETITION.

Nice or not nice does it matter? How does he mislead others? Even tho that Goshiki u mentioned is not nice (i agree w u on that), it is still a goshiki. Not like he put a kohaku & say its a goshiki....

If u think the examples he put up are not nice, then why dont u contribute by putting up those u find nice? Then let yr taste be judged by everyone here...

As bro Kohaku rightly said.... Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. I second that.

i know what u mean. Thats why i only post my own fish (or my fren's fish), be it koi or aro. The only pics i get from internet is my avatar....

Dragon fish is simply wanting to promote interest in koi, as i said earlier. Simple as that.
