Yes, I took out the 2 foams and replaced them with Symec, then I put micromec in between. So far worked for me.

just came back from my 2 weeks holiday and the tank infested with algae. Ran out of Co2 the day before I left so have been starved for 2 weeks.

Took the opportunity to tear the tank apart and hopefully can come up with someething more presentable.

Thinking of a Amazon Biotope.
