anybody try this before? http://www.eco-lamps.com/aquarium_moonlight.htm

Seems cheaper than other brands.

anyone know wad brand of LED lamp is good enough for a 15cm cube shrimp tank?

got plants inside? no plants, anything type also can, as long as bright enough for u to view.

Can try Sim lim Tower level 1 and basement... tons of LED cheap and good.

I think the LEDs at Sim Lim are not good enough for Marine Tank, thats why the LED lights manufacturer can jack up the prices and sell their 'custom LED for marine' at thousands of dollars...

I have go there recently before.. these LED is more for decoration.. cannot use for fish tank... not strong enough to use for water..

Get those 3W LED, they works. For blue LED you hv to get from online. Those blue LED in simile are of different wavelength. For marine it best to hv blue of wavelength below 450nm. It look more like deep blue or royal blue which they call it.

For white, it you can get those with color temp of 10,000K and above. In sim lim you will hv a hard time finding these as well. Those white are like 6500K, which look yellowish under the water.
