I change my 422 altos tank more than 50% and sometimes to 80% but not everyweek because for altos no need.
Over-filtration is what I do for my setup and when filling up the tank, I use direct tap water but in a slowly dripping manner and using very concentrated anit-chlorine. So far so good for my side. |

i understand that " slowly dripping manner" is a safe method to prevent shock but we must be patient as topping up of big tank will take age...

Well, by having a big tank & dont over stock, i dont think we need to WC so often.
But can we really stop "over-stocking" that is a problem. |

Just bought 2 pcs of comp.
Had tried hikari cichlid gold but seem they don't like it... they threw out the pallets . Any other food to recommend? TIA |
