Default Any Ideas how to make Tiger stable ?

Hi ....
I have 4 tigers altogether; sharing a 5'x2.5'x2' tank with 23" RTG:
In the order that I bought;
1. IT - now 11" plus kept since 4"
2. ST1 - now 12 " plus kept since 5"
3. ST2 - now 11" plus kept since 3.5"
4. ST3- now 8" plus kept since 4"

IT was semi stable since I got it. ST1, ST2, and ST3 was always stable. Since my tank upgrade in last April, they ( IT, ST1 and ST2 ) started to flare and fight between themselves, thus IT and ST1 became unstable ( color turned dark ). ST2 on most day is stable unless the IT and ST1 disturbed ST2. Just introduced ST3 ( 1 week ) still stable. Now this ST3 is also involved in the fight. Sooner or later ST3 will become unstable ( patchy dark color ) All tigers have split tails due to fight except ST1 ( tail in good condition ).

Any Bros have any ideas on how to make the Tigers stable with nice color.

Thanks for your time.

color of ur tank's background?
since they r camoflage fishes , having a black oyama naturally they have the tendency of having a darker tone of color as to compare with a blue base oyama.

to wat i know ,some reason they goes black are :
1] water parameter
2] hungry
3] being bullied
4] water temp

tis r some of my personal exp.

Current tank is blue base oyama. Did notice that the ST s' colors are more yellow and nicer. Tank temperature is between 29 C to 30 C. IT, ST1 and ST2 are on MP diet since young. Now only ST2 likes MP alot. The rest want to eat feeder and Bull frogs, and occasionally MP. IT and ST1 ( from observation ) not always 'eat full '.

Any ideas on stopping the bullying..?
Thanks Bro for sharing your experience.

the best way, put in my tank!!!

no lah....
some time really hard to say 1.
but water parameters rather important for tigers...
as i find they are more sesitive to getting sick.....
try to have the enviroment built for them to make them more
at home, then they will sure show u their "true" color one...

good luck...
