Have you been feeding them for the past 2 years? If so, they should do good.

Since we at this topic on Vinegar Eel, I found an article on culturing vinegar eel and it includes step by step instructions of how to go about cultivating Vinegar Eel and harvesting it. For the benefit to all

many years ago, I was very interested about the experiments done with vinegar. How the different combinations of apple cidar vinegar and water will affect the rate of reproduction.

I found out that the easiest way to cultivate these eels are...
1) buy the apple cidar vinegar from NTUC
2) add some culture into it (no water or apple added into it is fine too)
3) leave the cap loose, do not screw them tight

and you have your culture for mths or years

with regards to this questions, I believe the nutritional value is dependent on how the vinegar eels are breed. Personally, I believe there are not as nutritional as bbs, but definitely they are ALOT MORE convenient as a first food for fry.

BBS have pro and con also .
To me first 3 days i use VE cause its very fine and the fries are able to eat and BBS normally not all are able to eat due to the size.
So i will introduce BBS after 3 to 4 days after using VE and i find that i seldom see dead fries on the floor using this method
Works for me but may not work for others
