Default adapter and fans dont work...wad went wrong...

pics in my gallary under adapter...
i connected everything correctly...
and tested at the connections there is current flowing thru...but it jus wont work...

Did you check the polarity? Since is DC fans, try reverse the 2 wires and see if it works. Else maybe the fan spoilt?

For DC motor fan, polarity does not matter. A change of polarity will only cause in a change for rotational direction. So no matter which way you insert the wire, it should rotate, the only different is the direction (unless there is additional diode limiting the direction of flow of the current, usually there should not be).

I can't really see the picture clearly, I think there are 2 pairs of wire, meaning there is a total of 4 wires. Separate the wires, insert 2 wires of the the same colour into the same terminal of the wire connector. An the other 2 into the next terminal, it should work.

dipending on the brand, I happen to have fan that wont work when polarity is reverse.

That round thing is ferrite core, used to reduce noise. You can cut it off, not that you are trying to pass the EMC.

yeah..
i got it..
the polarity was wrong..
aiyo...i went thru so much trouble..
jus didnt notice tt the polarity was wrong..
anyway it was made using a hard disk cooler which fitted jus nice when i lean it on my lights...
shiok shiok...
