Default Help please..

this has been on my diftwood for quite some time already.. still dont know what is it.. it looks like furball... tried to brush the driftwood when i doing major cleaning.. some of them are found on the coconut husk that i have inside as well...

here's a picture:

I believe thats brown algae.

Is your tank placed near sunlight? And try to reduce the hours of light.

ohhh... but my plants will be ok with that? sunlight seldom coz most of the day time i wont be at home..

well if your tank is near sunlight, better shift it to another place.

If your DW is new, then not a problem. They will gradually disappear if not eaten by shrimps and mollies etc.

If its brown algae, the cause is low lighting. Increase light and they will diminish. Yamato shrimps will eat them too.

You shouldn't plant Windelov in the substrate. They should be tied to DW with their rhizome exposed.
