Take this as a lesson bro. I usually try out my heaters when i'm home the whole day and can monitor how the water heats up. I do this for new and old heaters that i have. Some of my heaters are close to 10 yrs old and have not been used for 2-4 yrs.

I feel your loss bro, innocent lives are lost. RIP.

A very painful lesson indeed.
The seller wouldn't not have known the heaters are not working correctly. Imagine this heater is used in a comm tank or Reds/GHs and BDs!
