She will face exhaustion if lots of horny males are all chasing at the same time but once she has released her eggs then they will stop chasing and start egg munching. I've had females scales also kenna lifted like dropsy and tail broken but they recover quickly without me intervening. So not to worry, it's nature. Anyway it can help prevent egg binding too otherwise the female will tend to keep their eggs and rid of them thru' re-absorption.
