Initially I have 3 Chilli Red on a 6x3x2 tank but I had moved them to a bigger tank 1.5yrs ago. there are about 9 Aros in the tank and they are mixed...

2 chilli red
1 blood red
3 xback
1 MG
2 RTG
3 stingrays

thank build up is rather simple... broke the wall and made a new wall with the arquarium as part of the wall... it's 9x4x2.5 and the sump size is 8x2x2.

the water management is pretty much automated. Ever since it was commissioned, I have not change the water(manually). I have a solenoid valve that open and close the water outlet via a timer and there is a ATS(automatic top-up system) which will replenish the water. ATS is connected directly to the main water pipe. not really worried of chlorine as the % of water change is rather small. it's done daily though...

I spend quite a lot of the food... their diet is a mixed of frogs, crickets, live fish, worms, market prawns. I feed the fishes 2 times a day.

On weekly basis, this is what i usually feed them :

1. 1kg of worms
2. 1/2kg of crickets
3. 40 frogs
4. 1300 pcs of live fish
5. 1/2 kg of market prawns

many friends told me not to mix the aros, usually get the same type. didn't listened to my friend and went ahead with it. initial fighting was rather bad, torn fins(even till today) and dropped scales are a norm. 1 malaysia golden died but luckily the killing stops there... it has been 6 months since i have grouped them up and things have pretty much settled down...

some pictures of the aros...

share the same sentiments instead I a bit greedy and comm more than your 9pieces.

Very nice huge tank and the setup! Bro care to share how much did it cost you and the whole tank is assembled piece by piece on your house?
