Interesting.....pls enlighten me why power head is current-ing bottom and not top? Sorry for my ignorance but I haven't reared gf since 30 yrs++ ago.

And your tank might not be able to house them all when they grow bigger. |

Pleco do NOT clear waste but uneaten food, but if it's in goldfish tank, prolly there will NEVER have uneaten food since gf doesn't know when to stop eating!
Pleco poops a lot + gf ......so u will have+++ bioload, not sure yr sponge filter is of any help at all, hope yr OHF is running stacked many levels. More frequent water changes needed imo. |

Do monitor your ph level bro. Driftwood tends to lower ph though they do counter react with ammonia. Just my 2 cents worth. Remember to add some coral chips to your setup.
