Observe again, if it keep attacking the female and its not eating well , the female should be remove. Otherwise sometime the juv would be eaten away during their scuffle..
If the male is strong enough, let him take care of the fries himself.

Depends on the parents ablility to handle the fries, usually its about 15 days where you observe that the fries and swimming further away from parents in search for food. Its time that they want to have a fresh taste.

Hi Adrian,
Nice to see you here.

Agree what agree. Or you can devide them with a stainless steel mesh (barbercue hole size) so that the fries can still swim freely across to both parents.

Really appreciate all brothers sharing their experience with me. If I removed the female, will the male end up eat those fries.

Hi

BBS is good. you can feed them till +-1inch. The growth would be more proportionate. In the meantime feed mild dosage of meat meal to entice them to slowly adapt to it.

At 1", can we feed them with tetra bits or fbw?

I started my fries on FBW when they are slightly bigger than 10cent coin. So far no problems.

This morning 1pc rip. Sigh! Currently only feed them with fbw & tetra bits. Just wonder should I continue to feed them with boons. My is abt 10 cent coin.
