how old is the pair? younger pair tend to eat the fries. give more time.

is there fighting between the pair? fighting will have this problem too. change the pair if too aggressive.

any sudden changes to the surroundings? dun on-off the light or always go near the tank to look see. esp if this is their first time.

did u get them as a pair or breed from young? if u got it as a pair, then need time for them to accustom to u and the water parameters.

hope my experience helps.

You can observe to see which is the one that eat the fries, separate them if possible. Just let that pc that don't eat them take care of the fries. Remember to feed a little more (BBS) if you separate them.

If both eat fries, then you have to be patient.

Agree with brother YKT. Normally young pair tends to do that.
