Default T5 Light Tubes

Hi bros need your help. May I know where could I find cheap D&D (or better known as Deltec if I'm not wrong) T5 light tubes? Thanks.

Deltec T5 light tubes are not cheap and if you're exploring inexpensive T5 light tubes then you can look at alternatives like AquaZ, AquaLight, Arcadia, Dazs, etc.

Hi bros thanks for the suggestions. Just happened to found out earlier on that one of my colleagues also keeps marine fishes and he bought the D&D 4ft light for abt $70.00 wow as good as the price whereby I DIY for 2x 4ft T5 lamps! Guess will try the Aquaz ones. So with the naked eye is the 6,500k lamp brighter or the 10,000 lamp brighter? I understand that brightness got to do with wattage and not with the color temperature. But anyone could advise which looks brighter with the naked eye? Thanks.

Alan,

The 6500K is the brightest of the lot, followed by 10K, then 20K. At any 1 wattage for 1 type of tube, eg., HO-T5, the higher the colour temp., the bluer and dimmer the tube. Wattage seldom has a play in the real intensity of a light source. Another eg., a 39W 6500K HO-T5 will be much brighter than a 40W 6500K T8.
