Default Will keeping a marine setup rot my table?

I plan to keep a 2ft marine setup on my wooden computer table... but will it make the wooden table rot? and its in my room... how can i control the salt splash?

Whether salt or freshwater gets into the wood, it will rots or bloats over time if you don't dry it asap.

With proper care and maintenance, your wooden computer table should able to withstand the 2ft setup.

To prevent salt splash, just cover the top of the tank ..

u could also lay a thick plastic sheet over the table so no water will come in contact

It will not rot ur table but ur pocket. Hahaha joking har.

Ya..agreed 100%...this is a R&D hobby...keep spending...haha..

Ya..go and buy some plastic-tilt (or thick-transparent table-cover) to cover your table to prevent splash...I did that for my iron stand..
