light sufficient for a mixed reef

Can anyone tell mi wat is the light i need if i wan wan to keep coral like hammer, jewel, frogpawn, anemones, mushroom & etc in a 3X1X1.5 tank? is 3ft T5 of 4 X 39w or a MH light 2 X 150 & 2 x 24 w pl suitable? pls also recommend a brand of Lighting for this.

T5 is enough for LPS since hight is only 1.5ft.

Aquaz 20K will be fine.

u mean 4 tube all 20k or 2 tube 12k and 2 tube 20k

can try 2 x 10k + 2 x blue

with this combination, will timing of switch on the tube help in the growth of the coral eg turning on the two blue tube in early mornin and evening and all light on during the day?

The light is turned on to suit your viewing pleasure, not necessary to be in the morning cos the corals dun know when to tell day or night unless the light is on. What most of us did were to on the blue light first, maybe 1 hrs before the main light come in.

I uses a combination of 10K and 6.5K tubes.

Depends on individual preference. Higher kelvin will give a more blueish tint but lower kelvin will give a good growth.
