Okay. Thanks bro! Will shift the filter when I'm back today.

My tank newly set up. Should I change water on a daily basis like 50% wc?

Water changes depend on many factors >> Number of fishes, filters, feeding regime, tank size etc. From what you said about yr dead gf + 1 overhead filter (Not sure how effective & what media u used) + 1 sponge filter, it seems yr tank bioload could be quite high. So yes, it is best to do regular water changes (maybe 1 or 2 days once at least 50~70%) + less feeding, until you have established good bio-filtration and observed that yr fishes are doing well, then u can change to 3/4/5 days once.

Bro,

Just my 2 cents. Try not to be over nervous over the fishes for a start. Not too sure if it's already sick when you purchase them or if they really do not suit your tank. Hang on for a while and see if there are any symptoms.

Having hard water and controlling ammonia and nitrate level are basically the best suited environment. The fishes dying might not be mainly due to the current environment. My fishes were from a farm in japan, I had many of them
Dying initially till they stabilize down.
All of them are ok already. Hang in there!

Default My little setup at home

My Japanese F1 ryukin fry tank as well as a small Thai ranchu tank. Very basic setup with not much maintenance. Probably WC of a pail water with stress coat every 3 days or so. I have about 30 pieces in the 2feet another 30 pieces in my office fry tank. They have been very ok.

Not trying to show off anything not am I any form of expert here... However, just showing some simple setup that I run in my office and at home. So far all of them has been good.

My guys are cleaning the area up as it has been a mess earlier on. Just my 2 cents worth.

I see alot of white bubbles on your water surface.
Not a good sign, means your water containing alot of organics.

Probably you should change more water or increase your bio media.
