Agreed.. Honestly, I'm aware that bichirs are able to regenerate certain parts of the body. For example, I was bought a delhezi with no pectoral fins at all. I believed it was bitten by bigger dels in the tank. Once I brought it home, it grew back absolutely normal pectoral fins. Having this said, I am sharing my experience and not encouraging anyone to cut up their bichirs in order to have perfection!

Bro, fyi, aro drop eye ever been cured before...many kind of remedies

As for rayspine of fishes, if not genetically defect, there is hope.

Yes. The problem is that person just hearsay this hearsay that and told a retailer that it is possible. There will be some people who knows nothing and since the shop tell him/her it's possible, he/she just cut it and expect it to grow back well.

Nice comparison. Apparently, 99% of the time it grew back to what it was.
