Nice fish. Very different from a "classic" Turquoise.

Looks like what Forrest (well known Malaysian breeder) calls "Golden Turquoise". Pure golden base without pigeon genes.

Can see some that he shipped to the US this month here:

Lol about 5 years ago. Had some blue diamonds and some other random strains in my dad's planted tank. Not high quality stuff like you guys play la

I appreciate some tankbred strains, some of which are certainly breathtakingly beautiful, but my heart is still with wild discus in biotope setups haha

Nope don't like to mix mutation with pure. All my space is for wilds only. You guys are doing a great job keeping the domestic hobby going strong. I will just keep my own preference. No pressure

Condor not taking about this piece. Ignore him please lol.

This piece is just a case of ring leopard that had broken rings.

Just find the outcome nice as it looks like a pigeon checker-board but is without black specks.

As for high back, its siblings more or less have higher body and high fin.
