Boon survival rate ? Fry question
May I know how long can boon survive ?
Iow to keep them alive in a container ? Do I need a air stone ? Is it possible to leave the boon and fry together for 5 days without wc? If not , can I not feed the fry for a few days? |

Only way to keep them alive is to have constant supply of green water. Fry needs constant feeding at twice a day. I would suggest to hatch bbs, its easier to control the supply and they live longer and need to feed spirulina powder once a day. |

Normally I will just throw in the whole packet of boon (50 cents) into the tank. Can last about 2 days. This saves a lot of trouble feeding. At the end of two days, I will siphon the bottom of the tank to remove the dead boon and will top up with new water. When they are older, I will throw in $1 worth.
