i think is quite obvious the players are not putting in their shift ......

losing a match is one thing
playing with zero pride, zero fire ... that's something else altogether

whoever wants to go, let them go .... at our price
no takers, bench them .....

The nightmare had just ended, and hopefully it is time to remove all those deadwood from the club and start the rebuilding.

I dun mind seeing Declan Rice coming into our midfield as a start.

latest news is that Juve is looking to swap Dybala with Sanchez

Actually I am sceptical about these South American players joining the English league. Mainly because most of them don't speak the English language and find it hard to blend with the British culture. Some may adapt, but the problem comes when they bring their families along, and that's where they feel out of place in the UK. This will ultimately affect their standard of play. Of course there will be exceptions

We already had 3 Argentinians that failed badly.
Both are superb with their previous clubs and came at a record price.

the one remaining is on the way out too

Dont think is that bad. Building a new team takes time. MC was no where and few years back keep stronger and stronger. This season they are too good for everyone to catch up.

The one remaining should have been shipped out long ago but he was pretty smart to be "conveniently" injured during transfer window period such that no other teams want. But when playing for his country, he is a totally different player!!!

To be 19 points (hope I am correct) last season behind the winner last season was bad, but to be 32 points for the season that just ended?? This is how far we have deteriorated.
To have leaked in 54 goals (28 last season) in 38 games speaks volume of our defenders that contributed to about 26% of the season that we lost games.
In fact we won only 50% of the 38 games played (9 draws and 10 defeats).
Scoring 65 goals (68 last season) is not a feat to shout about too.

Indeed we have a major rebuild to do to bring back the glory days.

Would it be a gd time to invest in English U21 players. I hope that it is.
Tge youth team won 2 intl competitions last year with one of them the U-21.
Historically, thereafter, they went on to win the WC or the European Cup.

As for Dybala, his form dipped greatly after his forward role was given to cR with Allegri moving him back to midfield.

But I dont mind if his asking salary is not high and he is still young given his age.
