Siamese Tigerfish (Datnoid pulcher) successful captive breeding.
A group in Thailand recently announced the successful breeding of Siamese Tigerfish, Datnoid pulcher.
Here's some pictures of the parent fish and baby fishes (Pictures from their facebook gallery). Parent fishes Grow out Baby fish Thailand Ministry of Fisheries certification for captive breeding and production of Siamese Tigerfish More videos of babies and breeding parents in following link. https://www.facebook.com/Siam-Tigerf...9700148989085/ That's all the information I find from FB for now. No information on breeding methods or breeding conditions. Hopefully the breeders can share more information in future. They are selling the babies, not sure about the price. I expect pricing to be steep for now. Will need a few more breeding cycles for the price to gradually come down. This is good news for freshwater fish keeping hobbyists

Earn quick buck first, maybe similar to Aro in 5-10 years time.
At the same time IT price will drop further. |
