help with filtration system!

Hello bros, am using a 4 ft mr aqua OHF with dymax 2500 for my 4 by 2 by 2 tank, but somehow theres still some shit in there and water don't seem to be good as in clear enough. Media are sponges and foam as in cotton only. Kindly advise me? Or is it normal?

was advised rio hf 17 and then went to check and saw sicce multi 4000 pump, need advises from bros out there.

Maybe you can let the system cycle for awhile and see if any difference. Bio media may need so time to mature bacteria.
