I dun think 'times are different' can be excuses for pinky relatively non performing compared to the old man. It is about grit, ability and determination. If you put pinky back in the 60's, will he be able to perform? He wun even be 0% of old man.

SG can be more prosperous than her neighbours simply becos SG were headed by able ppl at the start while the neighbours were rifed with corruption and in-fighting. They were no less capable in fact. Now they wake up of cos they will catch up.

The first born of any family usually not as strong as the younger siblings.
That's what I notice in families.
The last kid usually the strongest and most cunning.

I dun agree in the biological reasoning on intelligence due to age of concieving. But eldest kid is almost always conditioned to become more responsible.

i am the youngest of my mum's brood.

I am also the younger of the twin boys

My twin: highly booksmart.

Me: kosong booksmart but streetsmart
