if you don't mind the brownish water, they will definitely benefit from the ktp essence. they help reduce stress levels afaik. just remember to give them a good wash before dumping into your tank if you are using the leaves.

I am using the bottled essence, hence doing away with the extraction from the ketapang leaves. The tank water is always yellowish and I really like the look of it Gives people the feeling of looking into a mangrove swamp and at the plants and fishes within it!

Change of substrate
Dear bros, I have bought two packets of sand from GEX to replace the current river sand (bigger pellet sized). Are there anything that I should be looking out for? Murky water permissible? PH spike?
