Do use a wire net to cover up the eggs to prevent from eating by the Parents. In this case, at least you have a chance to confirm whether you have a working male and female when you see any eggs hatch.

Wish you good luck next round

It is okay. Even an experience breeder still can have the same problem.

If the eggs stays orange for 2 days plus... Your water condition is ok.. Should expect wirrglers by 3.5days depending on temperature.

You can have 2 or 3 discus, and they lay eggs. This doesn't mean that its is a pair(ie, a male and a female). It can lay egg and both can be females, in this scenario, the eggs would turn white as it's infertile. Also, it can be a male and a female and the eggs turn white as the water cleaniness is not there. Trail and error and never give up

Make sure you see the male action before cover.

Do add a little meth blue. It helps.

There can be many reasons but none of us can know for sure, maybe is water, environment or maybe some pairs are habitual egg eaters or some may stop eating the eggs after some time....
