The dorsal is very long that is good. Two areas that you could improve upon even though I am not good at lace.
1) The tail color is not quite red. 2) Center of the tail is getting thin, it might grow to be lyre tail. May be LTQ could give you advice on how to improve it. Cheers Chiu |

Thanks Chiu. To me, red lace is quite a difficult strain to master as it frequently needs outcrossing. Hope to use this thread to gather more expert opinions on maintaining and breeding this strain better and share with everyone in this community.

Did you cross this with other strains as the snakeskin pattern is missing from the front part of the body

Hi kee Huat, no i only cross with other people's red lace female. I tried to cross with moscow red, but the f1 is way off.

Are these F1 males. If so, were the snakeskin patterns also missing from the parent male.

The male is from F2 batch. But i remember the parent has full snakeskin body pattern. Is it weakening of genes again?
