Default worms in shrimp tank! help!

i was watching my shrimps doing their thing and i saw this worm wiggling in the tank. what's that?
it it harmful and what can i do ?

is it a maroon colour worm? it wil leech onto the shrimp and cause death.

i believe theres a kind of medicine that will kill those worms.

i myself havent tried it though. normally i juz tk it out if i see any.

Think it's call white worm. Go buy medicine to kill it.

grab some tiny guppies and let it do the clearing for a day..

no need for worm killer drops, tried tat, wiped out whole tank.

bro ccm, i have some berried shrimps and lots of shrimplets inside. will the guppy kill those ?

Bro. U can try some small tiger barb. I got tat I just buy a few barb. They clear those tiny white worm in One day. And bad filtration lead to the cause also. Just my 2cent.

ya, those worms are usually due to over feeding. i used to have also then slowly reduced the feed till they disappeared. but also must take note if your tank is growing fast you need to increase back la.

if u buy a pack of feeder guppies.. its 2 dollar pack.. bring it home, fish out the ones that are abt the size of a adult shrimp, intro it into tank, they are harmless to baby shrimp but tt is just temporarily..coz they will grow up eventually. maybe after 2wks. can fish out all and release to canal..
