Ya Bro Nauzer, I noticed your PH is high too. Did you intentionally raised it to this level? What else did you add in the tank except the usual sodium bicarbonate if it's intentional?

Hey bro, yes indeed, this ph is a little too high and it is accidental (after water change) and not intentional. Breeding conditions would be ideal with a higher PH value, i was not sure if this applies to endies as well but it happened!!!

if you do better start finding a male one and also a tank specially for it

if not wrong can go farms to look for BIG endies

yes will get into it once i get all the information necessary and may give it a try!
but in the article, it mentioned that the 2nd mating was a couple of years later! so maybe my luck has run out!

i dun think they take so long to formulate eggs

prob if u go put a male tog with ur endlicheri now
and start conditioning it for egg laying
then + one time good good WC maybe for consecutive days( simulate torrential rain) maybe when the male n female are in good shape
u'd probably be able to get eggs real soon
prob not few yrs
maybe within 6 mnths

Nice one bro! I had my endlicheri's mate once but my female wasn't ready (old enough) to lay eggs. Check out the video of them mating here. The right one is the male pushing his anal fin underneath the female anal fin while making a cut of his fin (wich can be seen in detail on this video here.

Please don't mind the music. I hope you can find a male who's ready to mate bro! That would be really awesome.
