Not true at all. The water cleared in just a few hours.

Yes. These are artificial and made of resin. But I dare say that you won't be able to tell the difference in an aquarium.

Let's continue on where we left off.

I decided to make this a mainly moss tank and leave the foreground area bare. The SUDO - Bottom Sand is not suitable for planting due to its very fine grains.

Now all we need is some small stones to tie the moss to. Lava rocks seem most suitable:

Spiky Moss tied to small lava rocks:

I dropped them around the tank and also planted some Utricularia graminifolia (UG) in the middle path. Let's see how well UG can do with just 11W of light.

Finally finished the main planting:

Tomorrow will be getting to the CO2 supply (yes, this is intended to be a high-tech tank). Some floating plants like Salvinia natans or Amazon Frogbits will come in handy as well.

The water should clear thoroughly by tomorrow. I stirred things up a bit when dropping the lava rocks but the water still cleared up quite fast.

Overall, I must say that it has been quite a breeze setting up RESUN - Mini Garden (15L). It only took about 3 hours in total (including waiting for the water to clear).

The Resun Hang-on filter is really easy to hook up and really noiseless. One cool feature about the light set is that it does not have the usual on/off switch. The switch is a knob, which you turn clockwise to turn it on/off.

I have never liked setting up small tanks in the past due to the lack of suitable stones. But with the new range of the SUDO stones, I just had to try them out myself.
It was also very easy to shift the hardscape around until I got something I liked, something which is difficult to adjust for a natural stone of this size in this little space. I also didn't crush much Aqua Soil granules as the SUDO stones were really stable and easy to tilt to any angle without other support!
