A decision ought to be made one way or the other.
He has been given far too long to "prove" his worth and it is not reaping any dividends for the club.
The Board must make a statement on this, let him go (since he is no longer seen as an asset, so what if we make some "losses" to get him out), rather then a total loss not playing at all yet getting fully paid

I think we will have a lot of games to play in the whole season
We need some experienced heads

I hope to see a settled first team, barring injuries, for the premier league
and another set of second stringers and young players for the FA Cup,
EFL Cup and Europa

Alexis can play himself to form in the cups, ie if he is not " past it "
I'll rather we keep him that way than pay his salary for him to play in Italy
