finally back into the hobby again and found time to upload some pics. wanna keep a little record on these fellas, my first time growing pb's out instead of buying them big.

these fellas have amazing growth rates and appetites. but when lights go out, its really royal rumble. very nasty attitudes. hope to see them hit 9" soon!

ps for the crappy quality shots. still cant get the settings right even though i've played around. i"ll keep trying!

Thanks bro! Yea man, read elsewhere that this sp seem to be one of the most aggressive cichlas. The way they fight, I sometimes worry it'll go overboard. But I remind myself, its all part of juv pb's growing up. At first, they all targetted the weakest fella, and he stopped eating mp. I had to buy a cheaper morino to let them whack instead. Now, everything's fine alr.

No lah bro, can't even get a bd. Any tips to get them on pellets? They look interested when they sink, but dun wanna take a bite.

Nice xingus... Where u got them from bro? Starve them if u really want them to eat pellets... When one start eating pellets.. The rest will follow..

Thanks bro, got them from ah. I thought of the starving method but was wondering any tricks to get them on pellets. Have started starving since yty and food timer on pellets every few hours, shall see. Thanks for your tips.

Thanks cedric. Wanted an azul as add on to these, but I think I'll look out for kelberis instead. Still like them the most. Convert to pb comm lah, pb's as main focus.
