My newest discus. Can anyone tell me what this color morph is called? Checkerboard? Map..? I was a little too enthusiastic and distracted by all the other discus the breeder had instead of properly listening to him..
Can't wait for it to grow up and the color to all come in If using the fin angle method, I guess it is a female? I know at least it's a pigeon from the red eye and black peppering: Sad news also, my anorexic discus didn't make it.. RIP. These are the last photos of I have of him next to the discus who bonded to him. Who is a pig and she eats everything with gusto! They came at the same size but anorexia there only wanted to eat live worms, and sparingly. Sent from my SM-G920I using Tapatalk |

Bro wandawang, yours like checkerboard or what they call red map. Those are only marketing names. Some grow up the spots will join to lines .Hope this helps.

Tend to agree with bro TODAY, that your leopard looks emanciated. Difficult to fatten up to normal size once they reach this stage. Many have tried deworming but think it is a too little too late scenario.
All the best though. |
