Default New to goldfish...

Hi all... i'm thinkin of getting some goldfishes but how should i start?? kindly give me some steps which i can follow...

bro, like many other fishes, make sure ur tank nitrate and ammonia is zero... then u can buy any gf u like and start keeping... make sure u choose a healthy gf... if u plan to put more gf in a tank... make sure u quarantine ur new arrivals before adding to the main tank...

haha.. first buy a suitable tank that is suitable in ur house..
then cycle the tank using any feeder fishes for 2 wks or so..
now ur tank is safe liao..
then can buy any nice goldfish which u fancy for..

Thanks guys.... i already got an xtra 2ft tank & already fill up with water and on my filter already..but do i really have to cycle the water for 2wks??
any shortcuts?? hehe

Try moving some filter media from your established tank to your new tank, and you can maybe cut the cycling time by half.

yar is method will also do so.. or buy fast cycle solution but waste $$$..cycle is important or else watever ur fish u buy might suffer.. i rather to make sure my tank is fully cycle b4 i put my fish in..
