Default Male impotent ?

I had this experiences recently.
Male A and female B spawned --> Fries
Male B and same female spawned -> 90% eggs eaten by Male, 10% eggs unfertile (remove male, lower water add MB )
So can i conclude Male B is impotent ?
Welcomes all inputs and sharing.

The male may be first time breeding? Inexperience? Did you try to breed him with the same female again?

Nope, sometimes they just didn't wrap properly . Sometimes these do happen . They eat the eggs cause they know it's not fertilized properly.

I did not see the whole spawning process. When i check, the male stomach already full liao, so i quickly scoop him up. Not sure he ever spawn before as i brought from bros here.
I'll try again.

Sometimes the male might just eat the eggs and be labeled an egg eater rather than impotent. Why donīt you recondition them and try again?

i think there must be reasons for the male to eat the eggs. This case is eggs infertile.
Nevertheless i'll try again.
Thanks
