Bro craz, this is a very nice piece of Goldline. Body looks very bulky. Must have fed it very well.
Bro J@ckson, since you have a big Goldline, any idea roughly how big would the Goldline pattern start to change? Notice the lines for 10" Goldline by bro craz is still straight. Btw, for your big Goldline, you kept it from what size and how long it takes to reach current size? |

It will be two years Dec 25th since I bought him from another hobbyist. I don't think they all go through the change. I know mine had this pattern before 10" for sure from what I was told by the previous owner. I've also seen 3 smaller ones 8"-10" with the same sort of pattern but not as intense. |

I can see why you chose this Xingu, very striking.
Nice find, Jay. Is this guy a new import or from a hobbyist? Solid Araguaia, I love me some straight parallel lines. |

Thanks Trix
Matt~ I picked this one up from a fellow hobbyist. I payed a bit more than going price as of this last month but from this hobbyist it's worth it as I know where he got it from and I know he's a top notch keeper. Stores have all 4 types coming in at good prices but the health/condition of the fish are not worth the money, time and heart ache. |

After a recent episode of suddenly sickness where my Goldline fell very sick, thankful that after a week of frequent water change and raised temp, it has fully recovered. Appetite is back...

Thanks. Think it was something wrong with the water quality as the panaques all becomes lethargic after water change. No appetite, colors turned very vibrant and all come out of hiding which is very unusual. Thankful all have since recovered.

Hi aquatalk, your panaque has the same mark/wound on the snout as my Peru green.
Would you have any idea what that is? |
