can sturgeons do ok in tanks? just wondering...heard there are open water swimmers and need alot of space like sharks..?

Sometime it is also called "wolf cat". They like to swim against water current.

Not sure if you are talking abt the same fish. We are talking abt Platystomatichthys sturio here.

saw a fish that looks like a sturio in C328. However it has white stripe on its top caudal fin compared to normal sturio. can bro amidae ID as well?

sturgeon catfishes are harder to keep.. they need excellent water condition and quite a strong current to swim against. i used to keep one but it is a very weak catfish.. will get bullied easily by your other catfishes..

Could be juvenile Brachyplatystoma juruense or Brachyplatystoma tigrinum
