You can have as much as u like but just need to upgrade ur filtration and change water more often. I used to have 13 15in aros, 1 18in sbkm, 2 13in Pdr, gar, FF, sucker, discus in a 6x2.5x2.5. I do 80% water change 3G a week in addition to a 5 feet sump

I'm saying this... is because... I often wonder how many hobbyist actually work towards the "ZERO" figure in terms of Water Perimeters....

I became a fanatic always trying ways to work and ensure that my life
stock environment's water perimeter is @ ZERO (NH4 & NO2). Because by doing so.... for the last few years, I have not have one issue with any my aros in terms of health and feeding issues (GOD BLESS....:cool)

To me, that's what makes Keeping Fishes D@mn Interesting,

Always trying to improve the Water (Till "Zero condition)

Than over load it by adding more life stock

Than find means to solve it (improving bio filtration to get back the magic figure)

Than over load it again..... ha..ha..ha.....

Thus, AF plays an important part to me, where information are shared and learn....
k ty for the info

if u intend to keep many fishes,
just remember to change water regularly and don't overfeed cos fishes in the wild don't get to eat all the time, and they r still doing fine..

and lastly oso yr media..cheers..

if you are keeping expensive fish, i will suggest that you do not stretch your bioload to the limit so as to allow you certain margin of safety.
