Yes, like mentioned above, let's not be so naive to be easily taken in by the world's whatever ranked newspaper.

The plot was to discredit and cast doubts on WP. No doubt WP didn't seems to handled the situation well, and many would hv thought "they shd have done this" or "they shd have done that" but, by doing this and that, will it really help now that some damage is done?

By putting up a statement and than try to better things and improve on handling matters would help in the coming 3 years.

There's no end. Even if they setup a corner and explain, there will still be more stones thrown at them.

We look at how PAP and their arms have handled things and look at how WP had handled several issues. Look who has done well. We seen how silly some of those pple were, throwing shit at the fan or opening a can of worms, and when info where thrown back at them, how they react? Ostrich with head in hole isnt it?

Their KPIs and PMPs have shifted and reorg to casting doubts on WP.... if can cast doubts or disturb WP then successful liao if can do more damage then its bouns big time...

Look at what Pinky said.... he is busy thinking of how to fix the opposition...

YouTube Video
ERROR: If you can see this, then YouTube is down or you don't have Flash installed.

"Right now we have Low Thia Khiang, Chiam See Tong, Steve Chia. We can deal with them. Suppose you had 10, 15, 20 opposition members in Parliament. Instead of spending my time thinking what is the right policy for Singapore, I'm going to spend all my time thinking what's the right way to fix them, to buy my supporters votes, how can I solve this week's problem and forget about next year's challenges?" Pinky May 3, 2006

He is no longer thinking about how to run singapore, improving people life and moving forward the country but instead he said he will spend all he time , he have to spend all his time to fix the opposition.... He is indeed a man of her words....

they come into contact with a lot of residents and heartlanders
pulling their own carpet from under their feet
stupidity....

dont think so much damage control can be done
unless they give a lot of freebies hereon to the stallholders.

is it pritam's area?

WP really need to manage this nicely.
Dont think the ppl who voted for WP are pro-WP perse.
Many are just anti-pap.

PAP by their own doing has alienated a large section of the young population.
The gini index ( income distribution ) is out of control and government seems blind to it.

The people has left politics for a very long time to PAP.
But to many PAP has not delivered.
People are getting back to politics with a vengeance for the sole purpose of ousting the PAP.

err.. what leads to the conclusion that NEA is not working to fix dengue?

I work with NEA, they are trying their darnest best to fix dengue.
Not sure what the public can see but at least that the banners are coming up and updated fast and furious.
Updated info and dengues are being sent to GROs very quickly.
We last went to outreach nearby kindergartens.
Very scare if they kena, then siao liao.

Hope can shed some light on NEA's work.

Cheers
