You try.
Experiment n update FR in one year. May well work if lighting correct. But if aro decides to blend into the darker undersides, will then fail.

Oh the other hand, if I see any dropping of color, it's going into my 3ft white tank till its 15".
Unless of course I can find a solution to change the background of my black thank to white.... Any creative suggestions? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

Hahaha well. I bought this piece as a GH. With its cert stating absolute GH. And I do like the look of a GH too. But that saying, I'm not expecting a completely gold head.
While I don't want to artificially temporary change the look of my fish, I do hope to help it develop its fullest potential.. I will post a full set up pic but this is how the Arowana is after 2 days in my black background tank. (Sides are see-through with one side near a window) Pretty strong lighting. Enough to grow plants with a 2.5ft height. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |

But I need to admit is, there is stream of ghxb with permanent golden head feature regardless in any tank environment. This stream of golden head is the combination of golden head genes with proper grooming. |

Understand. I've seen some around with a full gold head too. Really impressive but most I saw in white tank. Black tank ones I've seen only once I think. Also I hardly, almost never see a full adult GHXB.. Hmmm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
