Didn't know how a Sarasa Tamasaba looked like... thanks to Google, I found out it's better known as a Feeder GF. Basket, got such a fancy name I thot it's some kind of exotic breed!

If you have seen the pair of R&W Ryukin at the SIF today, the little Ryukin in my avatar sure champion of the world man. Those Ryukin are like deformed ones... red colour look more like orange, and the white dull dull no luster. belly also flatterned at the bottom, most likely becoz they have been sitting on the tank bottom throughout their life. worse of all, bloodstreaks!! Hiyoh, like that also dare to put up for show. Beh pei seh one meh??

Sarasa is a Japanese term for red and white. A Tamasaba goldfish is a rare Japanese Ryukin with a comet tail.

Oh I'm so sorry. I didn't look at the drawing shown properly; thot it was a feeder and you were joking about entering it for a laugh.

I like Ryukin best but have not seen a Tamasaba. Any chance you can upload a pic or does it look like this?

Yes, the picture you have posted is a Tamasaba but a low grade one. A good Tamasaba has the body of a Ryukin.
