Hi , im sorry as i do not know if i have posted in the right section ... does anyone know how many tanks can a HDB room hold and not consider illegal ? Cux today some anti mosqitos pple came my place and there no1 @ home so they didnt check my place but im afraid that they might come back again and if i have too many tanks i might get it ...

Im staying in a 4-room HDB flat , tanks i have currently is 12 running with water ( some half full some full )

5x 1ft cube ( half full )
4x standard 211 ( half full )
1x 212 ( full )

Anyway , is their ruling base on no. of layer of tanks we can have or ?

Just checking the HDB website also... no personal experience but just based on stated rules like cannot.

http://www.hdb.gov.sg/fi10/fi10324p....ument#FishTank

Quote: The maximum weight of the total number of fish tanks (inclusive of water, sand and accessories) supported on a four-legged rack or cabinet must not exceed 600 kg per room.

Above that need to seek permit right?

I see i see ... but 600kg seems super heavy right ? 75% of my tanks are half filled too ... so i guess no problem right ?

NEA and HDB are 2 different group. They don't really bother what you have unless you breed mosquitoes as a hobby. As long as the weight of the tank do not exceed the floor max limit and result in huge crack on the neighbour ceiling below, everything is ok.
