Diatomaceous earth users?
Anybody using food grade DE? Will be trying it out to polish water instead of Refresh montmorillite clay powder/Bioearth.

did you try the DE? was not aware it can be used like Koi Clay.
I've only used it as feed for my cats and to get rid of ants will also try if it works |

Haven't try.
Will add a few days after wc and clay powder. DE I intend to put day after clay, so that the clay doesn't clog DE pores.

one period of time i dusted my sump area with DE in attempt to get rid of those moth flies and see if it works on snails...
Conclusion.. nope.. dun work tat way... ended up wif loads of dead spiders.. so guilty lor. P.S. I relocated all spiders to the sump area so they can help me reduce mothflies population. Speakin of which.. i think i got 3-4 mths no do cotton change liao.. *mumbles mumbles* |

Not really.
Lasts long time. My Refresh koi montmorillite clay powder, 5 kg bought in 2006. Expensive at purchase but till now left half bag. Not expensive if you compare to Lfs bioearth small bottles.
