I know it kills living organisms, good or bad. When it is exposed to the UV light, but my question is. What specifically are we targetting to remove from our water?

It also kills free floating BB, algae...

no need 36W unit ... now the new units move the water in circular motion within the chamber, thus lengthening the exposure time, so a lower power rated unit is suffice .... saw such unit at OTF in PRFF ....

normally u would wan to kill off the free floating algae to prevent green water effect. if u prolong the exposure time within the chamber, then bb & microscopic parasites will be killed.

Default Ray tail

Hi Guys/Gals

I have a question here. I found that the tail of my small ray (around 6") was being bitten by some other fishes such that one small portion was bitten off. Can it grow back again?

Thanks!

Generally rays are more sensitive to water condition changes.
Learn that too much rain water also can kill.
