Yup

What started off as altum planted tank has been changed to planted jungle.

In fact got 3 WC wild collected plants in there that i bagged myself

Default wild collected specimens

Water grass found floating in clumps.

Will plant in soil when more grow.

Quarantine tank.


Disinfected 4 rounds.


Holding tank.



Floating in tank.






Rock found at water edge with moss.



Emerged plant with leaf tip tendrils that curl and grip anything in contact with it.
Think it's a type of lily like flame lily, the clump of wetland bushes were not flowering though.

better to avoid branches from wild , will rot eventually in the tank

will be interesting to see how the water grass is planted... looks quite tall. your substrate is purely sand?

Will be vigilant.

Havent done aquascaping in adulthood, but as a kid I used to blanch with hot water every monthly wc.
