Default Java Moss question

Heard that Jave Moss good for baby fish as they can nibble on the critters found in its fonds. Is this true? If i dump a bunch of Java Moss in my fry tank and no feeding for 4 days can the fries survive? Java moss can also grow in warmer temp right or maybe i should say survive in outdoor pond?

I went to a couple of LFS and don't seem to be able to get Jave Moss.

Anyone knows which LFS near Aljunied that sells or anyone has spare to let go?

Thanks
